Our NDSU Bison Tailgate Party was a great success and the folks at the Moose got to enjoy witnessing the sweet victory of North Dakota over Texas. A great time was had by all, except those from the Lone Star State.

Silent Auction Benefit - Sponsored by the Legion

The Bismarck Moose Legion is sponsoring a silent auction benefit for Rick Meuwissen who is in need of a liver transplant. The auction starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 6:00 PM. All items can be dropped off at the Moose or contact Danny at 701-226-2606 and he will make arrangements to pick them up. Also there are going to be burgers that day starting at 11:00 AM. Please come out and support Rick!

It was the best turnout ever during Sunday's 2011 Bismarck Moose Kid's Christmas Party. Santa gave out 176 gift cards and each child also recieved a gift bag of goodies. Thanks goes out to the volunteers that set it all up, ran the games and craft tables, and cleaned everything afterwards. And special thanks to Barry Schneider for being a wonderful St.Nick!

Happy New Year! With a new year comes lots of information and events at the Bismarck Moose! Thanks to all of you who assisted with the Children’s Holiday Party. The decorations were perfect and the party was a hit for all who attended!
Our very own Bison will be playing in the National Championship game on January 7th. We would love to have a tail gating party for this event. If you are interested in assisting with this please contact me at 400-1885. If we have enough interest this party will begin at 9:30 am. If not, please stop by for the game and cheer on the Bison to victory!!
One of our members, Rick Meuwissen, is in need of a liver transplant. There will be a donation box set up all day Saturday, January 7th for donations that will go towards his medical expenses. In addition, 10% of all sales this day will also be donated to Rick and the Moose is matching up to $3,000 in donations. Come on out and show your support for him.
Super Bowl is right around the corner. Tickets will be available beginning January 20th. It will be the same details as last year’s party, $30 per person. All members and guests of members welcome.
Reminder, sign up your friends and neighbors as a member in 2012. We are currently at 65% of our goal, and have 4 months left to hit it! Mark your calendars, the Mid-Year Conference is February 9- 12 in Mandan, all are welcome.

Barry's Kids 2011

Barry's Kids, a mentoring program lead by Barry Schneider, has been teaching kids the importance of team play through the sport of bowling for well over a decade. And throughout that time the Bismarck Moose has been a proud sponsor of this fine non-profit organization. The following video includes photos of the annual awards presentation in 2011 and a few of the faces Barry's Kids and the Bismarck Moose have helped bring a smile to throughout the year.

The Bismarck Moose supports Chilin for Children

The Bismarck Moose is happy to have helped support he University of Mary Optimist Club by its recent donation to the upcoming “Chilin’ for Children” event which will be held November 12th.

“Chilin’ for Children” is an event where the U of M Optimist Club, along with other Mary College organizations and student volunteers, spend the night in the Courtyard of the University in order to bring homelessness in North Dakota to the attention of the public.

Remodel of Social Quarters is Complete!!

The Bismarck Moose is happy to report that it has completed a substantial remodel within the past couple of months which included the installation of new ceiling tiles, carpet, a bar redesign, and other much needed improvements! Check it out! You will love the results!
